PlayMaker Core Concepts Bootcamp
Learn Unity & PlayMaker in One Weekend
💻 Live Online • For Beginners
Build Your First 3D Game This Weekend
Always wanted to make a game, but don’t know where to start? In this weekend bootcamp group, you’ll learn the foundations of Unity + PlayMaker (a visual scripting tool that lets you build without coding) while creating your own first-person 3D obstacle course game.
No prior experience required. By the end of the weekend, you’ll have:
- A working FPS controller with run, jump, and crouch
- An obstacle course map with win/lose conditions
- Coins & collectibles with scoring and global events
- Particles, sound, and effects that bring your game to life
- A finished exported build you can share with friends
Max 15 students per weekend. (small group, interactive, room for questions!)
đź—“ Schedule
2 Days • 2 Hours Each
Day 1 – Foundations & Gameplay
Build your first-person controller (move, look, run, jump), design a simple obstacle course, and add core game systems like respawn, fail screen, countdown timer, keys + doors, and collectible coins.
Day 2 – Hazards, Power-Ups & Finish Line
Level up your game with cannons, spike-ball hazards, and a temporary power-up. Add dynamic disappearing platforms, create a YOU WIN screen with level progression, polish with particles and sound, and export your very first 3D game build.
🧩 Homework Challenges
Between lessons, you’ll get optional “homework” challenges designed to stretch your skills. These remix what you’ve learned into brand new problems, so you’re not just following along, but applying what you've learned in new ways.
